We can count the houses and businesses, tally the jobs and natural resources, and study the economic activity that goes on behind the local levees, but those numbers will never tell the whole story. We also want to capture the story of the places that our community values: the annual events, historic places, nonprofit services, favorite restaurants, shopping centers, hiking trails, and more. We believe those places deserve to be quantified and recognized as well.
